Adrien Webb - HIGH Fitness
Adrien is a mom of 6 (including 5 year old boy/girl twins) and absolutely loves being a stay at home mom - although you will rarely find her at home. She loves to go on outings to parks, museums, stores, zoos, and loves to hike and bike ride with her crew. Adrien is an avid runner and has run 11 marathons (including a few in Boston!) She recently discovered her passion for group fitness when her little sister co-founded HIGH Fitness, and Adrien decided to become part of the new fitness craze. She thoroughly enjoys teaching, meeting new people, and sharing a love of fitness. Adrien graduated from BYU in 2001 with her Masters in Accounting. She loves numbers, organization, budgeting and doing taxes for friends and family. |
Alli Rickard - Yoga, HIGH Fitness
Alli is a mom of 3. She loves traveling with her husband, a good Diet Coke and loves all things fitness and wellness. She started practicing yoga 11 years ago and has been teaching for about 7 years. She completed her yoga training at 3B Yoga in Provo. She loves the yoga practice and how it makes her feel physically, mentally and continually helps her want to improve in all aspects of life. Her favorite quote is from Pattabhi Jois, "Practice and all is coming". She is excited to be teaching at Cahoots. |
Carly Brecheisen - Hip Hop, HIGH Fitness
Carly has been teaching dance fitness for seven years, and is passionate about exercising being FUN and intense! She has four children (ages 8,7, 2,1), and a stud muffin husband. She loves to cook, eat, collect unicorn anything and everything, and go on adventures with her family! She looks forward to dancing with you! |
Chelsea Wagner - Ballet Barre
Chelsea is a mother to three (a 8 yr old girl, a 7 yr old boy, and a new baby girl) who keep her very busy! When she's not entertaining her kids, she's doing the other thing she loves: teaching barre. Chelsea has been an avid barre-goer for 12 years and has been teaching for 9 years. She was introduced to barre in San Diego, CA (where she was born and raised) in 2007. After getting married in 2009, Chelsea and her husband moved to Houston Texas, where she continued her profession as a Barre Instructor. She later was promoted to a "Senior Instructor" and was teaching 10 classes a week and loving every minute of it! In 2014, Chelsea and her family decided it was time for a new adventure and moved to Lehi, Utah. Chelsea looks forward to sharing her love for Barre with all of us at Cahoots! |
Clarissa Thomas - Sculpt
Clarissa is so excited to be teaching at Cahoots! Her classes are precise and calculated to give the the best, most efficient workout for your time and body. She focuses on perfecting form to prevent injury, engaging correctly, and reaching optimal muscle strength. She loves to push you through one more set to show you are stronger when mind and body are united. Clarissa trained in hip hop and contemporary dance, danced with the BYU Ballroom Company, and was a professional ballroom competitor. She has taught many styles of dance and fitness to all ages, from 2 to 92 but now loves to combine them both. She is a CPT, GFI, and CNS and instructs heavy lifting, sculpting, LaBlast, Barre, PowerBarre and BodyBarre outside of running Adagio FIT, an online coaching company where she coaches women in fitness, nutrition, and mental health. Clarissa is the mother to three beautiful glitter fairies. Her family loves to adventure and work hard. Clarissa is obsessed with design and is currently renovating her new home with her husband. Haley Steele - HIGH Fitness
Haley is a mom of 3 very active, wild boys and has been married to her wonderful, supportive husband for 17 years. She graduated from BYU-Hawaii with a degree in Psychology. For a number of years Haley practiced social work teaching parenting skills and helping implement social skills in children. Her love of people is what motivates her daily. She understands the important physical and mental effects of exercise and loves to share this through High Fitness. Group exercise has become her passion as it gives her a chance to be around people as well as give her heart and brain what they need to stay strong and healthy. Her motto in life: Be kind to your body and everything else will fall into place. |
Jordan Anderson - HIGH Fitness
Jordan is the mother of 3 wonderful children! She is married to the man of her dreams and currently lives in Lehi! Jordan grew up in gymnastics and track and eventually transitioned to cheerleading where she competed all 3 years in high school on a National level. She is full of energy and loves any opportunity to excel and push herself. Jordan graduated Summa Cuma Laude from Utah Valley University with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing and loves working as a Registered Nurse. Jordan started out at Cahoots as a participant and instantly fell in love with High Fitness and eventually fulfilled her goal of becoming certified and teaching! Jordan loves not only High Fitness but group fitness! She loves the opportunity to be surrounded by amazing and strong women who are striving to build each other up while pushing herself individually to her limit. Being the mother to young children, Jordan has developed a passion for exercise and wellness and has learned how important it is for mothers to take time to focus on themselves, not only physically but mentally! She feels that group fitness is the perfect way to fill this need in her life and recommends it to everyone! Jordan is so grateful to be a part of the Cahoots team! |
Kacie Backus - HIGH Fitness
Kacie grew up in Arizona where she was active in dance, gymnastics, softball, and track. She has coached gymnastics for the past 14 years, and has organized and taught dance and gymnastics summer camps for the past 10 years. She choreographed State competition cheer routines for High Schools in Arizona. Kacie has always had a passion for dance, and when she discovered High Fitness she knew right away it was for her! She loves to exercise and help others, and High Fitness has allowed her to do both! Kacie has been married for 12 years and has 3 daughters and 1 son. |
Kara Simmons - HIGH Fitness, HiiT
Kara is a mother to three beautiful little girls and has been married to her high school sweetheart, Greg, for 11 years. Kara grew up in South Jordan, Utah and now currently resides in Eagle Mountain, Utah. She grew up taking dance, cheer, and tumbling and has always loved being active. After running a handful a half marathons and one triathlon she completed her first full marathon in 2015. Kara attended Weber State University and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Health Promotion. When HIGH fitness was brought to her attention, she knew that was the format of group fitness she wanted to instruct in! HIGH fitness fits Kara's fun loving and high energy personality perfectly. Kara and her family love to do anything that involves the sun and warm temperatures! Her favorite vacations always involve the beach. Kara has a love for photography and has worked as a part-time photographer for the past seven years. Kara is thrilled to be part of the Cahoots team! |
Kelli Haub - HIGH Fitness
Kelli Haub, wife and mother of two boys is lucky enough to explore so many of her passions; HIGH Fitness being a personal favorite. She dreams of living in a world where everyone is brave enough to unapologetically live life full out (and where sugar is as good for you as broccoli). She is passionate about many things, especially those things with a nod to the creative. Kelli started with Cahoots at the very beginning as as participant and recently joined the team as a HIGH Fitness Instructor. In true Kelli fashion she cannot wait to jump in, push hard, sweat a lot, and create relationships with all the amazing cahoots mamas. |
Kim_Brown - Sculpt & HiiT
Kim is a mother to four sweet boys. She likes to dance, teach, run, bike, hike, camp, and swim. Her family ran the dirty dash together last year to keep active, and she has also done a mini-triathlon and run half marathons. Kim has been teaching group fitness classes for 10 years and is an ACE Group Fitness certified instructor. She currently teaches HiiT at Cahoots, and has also taught Abs & Glutes, POUND, Ballet Barre, and Piloxing. She loves fitness because it empowers you to do so many other things in your life, teaches you to set and keep goals, and makes you physically and mentally strong. Kim's greatest passion is helping to empower women with self-confidence. |
Liz Daw - Sculpt
Liz is mom to four very energetic children, three boys and one girl. She has loved health, fitness and being physically active ever since she gained a love for distance rollerblading during her teenage years. Liz graduated from BYU with a degree in Recreation Management and Youth Leadership. She has been teaching group fitness for four years and has loved every minute of helping men and women find joy in improving their health. Some of her favorite classes to teach are sports conditioning, x-fit, kickboxing, lift and any format that includes burpees, tuck jumps and air jacks! In Liz's spare time, she loves to go hiking and biking with her family, and still loves to skate for miles and miles on her rollerblades! Liz believes that fitness brings not only a strength to one's physical fitness, but strengthens us mentally, emotionally and spiritually. |
Megan Murff - Kickboxing
Megan hasn’t always liked to workout. She rarely exercised when she was growing up and begged to stay home during the physical fitness tests in gym class! But after high school she discovered kickboxing (Tae Bo to be precise) and got hooked. It was fun and energizing, and she saw herself get stronger and toning up! Her balance improved, as well as her confidence. Through kickboxing she became fit and confident enough to try other fitness and athletic activities, and now she loves them all (except maybe running - that one is still miserable). Now she teaches kickboxing and is the owner of Cahoots Fitness! She loves all the women at Cahoots and is energized by helping them build their fitness and confidence and get a break from life! Megan is the mother of 2 adorable and feisty little girls and has the best husband on earth. |
Stephanie Reading - Sculpt & HiiT
Stephanie is so excited to be teaching Sculpt and HIIT classes at Cahoots! She has been teaching group fitness classes for just a handful of years, but her love of all things health and wellness began long before she began teaching. Stephanie grew up playing sports and loves trying any and all outdoor activities. She received her bachelors degree in Exercise Science from Utah State University. Stephanie’s husband enjoys her cooking hobby and supports any and all new adventures Stephanie decides to take on. Her fitness resume includes teaching TRX, boot camp, HIIT, X180, and indoor cycling classes along with some personal training. Her 3 “assistant coaches” (her kids) love helping her coach girls high school volleyball. Caramel M&Ms and chips and salsa are a sure way to win Stephanie’s heart. |
Tess Ames - Ballet Barre
Tess has been dancing for over 15 years throughout the Pacific Northwest and is thrilled to be instructing Barre at Cahoots! She graduated from Boise State University in 2012 with a degree in Communications and has utilized these skills to enhance her professional dance career. Tess’s choreography has won numerous awards at the State and National levels for high school and studio competition teams in Idaho, Washington, and Utah. Her favorite professional dance credit was performing as a Dancing Magician's Assistant where she excelled at disappearing acts and levitating. Since moving to Utah, Tess has explored the fitness side of dance and has thrived teaching Zumba and Ballet Barre classes. She loves incorporating the beauty of ballet into a workout routine that feels good for the body and soul while working up a good sweat. Tess looks forward to helping her students feel happy, healthy and in love with their bodies! |
Children's Instructors
Ivette Leal - Director of Children's Programming
Ivette has a Bachelor of Science degree from BYU in Exercise and Wellness. She completed an internship here at Cahoots Fitness as a Movement Preschool Instructor before graduating, and we were thrilled to hired her as the new head of the program! Ivette loves learning about health and teaching others how to live healthy lives. She has been working with children throughout her life through church programs, after-school activities, and teaching dance. She loves spending her time with children -- they always find a way to make her laugh! Ivette loves the great outdoors, volleyball, and especially dancing. She met her husband through dancing, and they have been married since August 2017. Ivette is of Mexican decent and loves to share her culture through food and dance. |
Hannah Erickson
Hannah was raised in Selah, Washington. She is currently a junior at Brigham Young University, majoring in Exercise and Wellness. After graduation, she plans on becoming a pediatric physical therapist. As the oldest of six children, Hannah loves interacting with children. She is passionate about helping others, especially children, become their healthiest and happiest selves. Hannah loves to travel, try new things, watch Marvel movies, and practice her Spanish. She cannot wait to teach and interact with the kids of Cahoots Fitness! |
Heidi Poppleton
Heidi was born and raised in Encinitas, California. She is a Senior at Brigham Young University studying Exercise and Wellness. She also works as an Academic Aid at Centennial Middle School in Provo. She absolutely loves kids of all ages and finds it to be a breath of fresh air being able to spend time with, and teach them valuable skills. She is very excited to be a part of the Cahoots Fitness team because it is an awesome place that helps people to improve their physical, mental, emotional and social health all simultaneously. |
Jessica Hardy
Jessica was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is currently a senior at Brigham Young University, studying Exercise and Wellness. After graduating, she plans on continuing her education at the Utah College of Dental Hygiene. She loves being outdoors, being active, and spending time with family and friends. She is very passionate about promoting and using her love for health and fitness to help others. Jessica is so excited to be a part of the Cahoots Fitness team this semester and to work with you and your children. |
Laura Cuevas
Laura was raised in Newport Beach, California. She is currently a senior at Brigham Young University studying Exercise and Wellness and is graduating in April. She is married and has a fourteen-month-old daughter named Sofia. She is such a busy-body and keeps Laura on her toes. She also works for BYU Police Department as a Dispatcher with previous experience from Springville Police Department. She is very excited to be a part of Cahoots Fitness to help you step out of your daily routine so that you can do something for your health and give you a peace of mind that your children are well taken care of and learning something new everyday. |
Lisa Walker
Lisa was raised in Pleasant Grove, Utah. She is a senior at Brigham Young University studying Exercise and Wellness. Her favorite things include hiking, speaking Swedish, four-wheeling, and playing with her numerous nieces and nephews. They all agree she is the favorite aunt. Lisa is passionate about health, especially when it comes to teaching others to live a healthy lifestyle. Lisa is so excited to be apart of the Cahoots Fitness Team and looks forward to working with your children this semester. |
Melina Hanson
Melina was born and raised in Draper, Utah. She is currently a junior at Brigham Young University. She is studying Exercise and Wellness major with minor in Dance and Gerontology. She spends a lot of her time dancing. She was on BYU Dance Ensemble performing company and this semester is excited to be interning with Oquirrh West Dance Project based in Salt Lake Valley. She is the 4th child of 8 and loves working with kids of all ages. She is passionate about health and dance. After graduating she plans to double certify as a personal trainer and massage therapist as well as continue to perform with a company and continue work as an artist. She is very excited to be part of Cahoot’s team! |
Mikela Rindlisbacher
Mikela was raised in Maui, Hawaii. She is the middle child of five with three brothers and one sister. She is a senior at Brigham Young University studying Exercise & Wellness with a minor in Asian Studies and will be graduating in December. After graduation she wants to continue her education and become a pediatric occupational therapist. She loves spending time outdoors or with family and friends. Mikela is so excited to be part of the Cahoots Fitness Team this semester. |
Taitly Clark
Taitlyn is currently majoring in Exercise and Wellness at BYU because she loves to help others. She is the oldest of four siblings, with many cousins. She has taught dance to young girls and enjoys being around kids. She loves to study the human body because it fascinates her. She is excited to be here to teach what she has learned at Cahoots! |
Management
Megan Murff - Founder/Owner
Megan is a graduate of Brigham Young University where she earned a bachelor degree in American Studies and an MBA with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation. Prior to completing her MBA, Megan lived in Washington, D.C. where she worked as Director of Membership for the Consumer Bankers Association (CBA) while also serving as Vice President of the Consumer Bankers Foundation. For CBA, she launched a nationwide youth entrepreneurship competition which inspired her to want to launch her own socially innovative company. Megan combined her business skills with her desire to strengthen families and her passion for fitness and nutrition to launch Cahoots Fitness in 2014. Megan is lucky to have the best husband on earth. She is the mother of two beautiful girls and loves watching them learn and laugh. Megan is a devout Christian and loves being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as a missionary in England and loves all things British. She lives to eat, and (luckily) loves to exercise as well. She is also a lover of music and plays the piano and the oboe. |
Jessica Edwards - Office Manager
Jessica is the mom of two beautiful girls. She was born and raised in Utah and currently resides in Saratoga Springs with her husband and children. She graduated from Utah Valley University with a B.S. in Finance and loves all things business and Cahoots! Her other hobbies include traveling, gardening, decorating her house, reading, and all things outdoors. She was a Cahoots member for just over a year before joining the Cahoots team! She is passionate about the impact fitness and nutrition have on women's mental health and loves making women of all fitness levels feel welcome as soon as they walk through our door! |
T'Nesha Moody - Staff Manager
T'Nesha grew up in Texas and absolutely loved it. She is married to her wonderful husband, Marcus, and has two boys named Jaxon (7th grade) and Kai (Kindergarten). They are the light of her life. T'Nesha went to ACU and majored in Communications with a Minor in Sign Language. While living in Texas, she was a Preschool Director and loved everything about working in that position. Her family recently relocated to Utah and are getting into the swing of things. She can be found organizing a Back the Blue Survival Kit event for local law enforcement, putting the finishing touches on a kinder-craft, or unwillingly roped into 7th grade math. Some of T'Nesha's favorite things to do with her kids are swimming, water balloon fights, and sports. If she has a moment to herself, you can find her at a Barre class, getting her nails done, or shopping at a good sale. She loves a good deal! T'Nesha is excited for this opportunity to work at Cahoots because she loves the mission. As a new resident looking for friends, Cahoots was the perfect place for her. She looks forward to getting to know everyone and and to see the growth of Cahoots. She believes the best is yet to come! |
